Khushdil Shah addresses the audience regarding offensive remarks.

PCB reports that foreign fans made abusive remarks and shouted anti-Pakistan slogans MOUNT MAUNGANUI: An incident occurred involving Khushdil Shah and some spectators on Saturday after the national team faced a clean sweep by the Kiwis in the ODI series.
According to reports, certain fans engaged in heckling and verbally attacking members of the Pakistan team after the match ended. This behavior did not sit well with all-rounder Shah, who tried to confront the hecklers but was quickly held back by teammates and security personnel. Footage of the confrontation spread rapidly on social media, prompting a response from the PCB.

A spokesperson for the organization stated that the abusive comments came from foreign fans, who also shouted anti-Pakistan slogans in front of the players. Following the incident, the Pakistan team filed a formal complaint, which led to security officials escorting two disruptive fans out of the stadium. “The management of the Pakistan cricket team strongly condemns the derogatory language directed at our players by foreign spectators,” the PCB noted in its official statement. “During the match, foreign fans made inappropriate remarks toward players on the field. When anti-Pakistan slogans were shouted, cricketer Khushdil Shah intervened and requested the spectators to stop.”
In retaliation, Afghan spectators heightened the tension by using even more offensive language in Pashto. After the Pakistan team’s complaint, stadium officials took action and removed the two fans from the venue.
